About Me

Life-long learner. Random art creator. Meme-sending friend. Pottery enthusiast.

Currently

Past Experience

  • Intern at Harassment and Assault Reporting Platform, a non-profit organization raising awareness about harassment & assault. I have written a post about my data science internship project here, so feel free to check it out.

  • Student at CodePath Interview Preparation Course at the Advanced section. So grateful for this opportunity! I improved tremendously throughout the summer and I cannot give higher recommendation to this program. Obviously the experience is how you make of it, so put a lot of work in and you’ll get lots out!

  • International Orientation Assistant to welcome new international students on-campus. It was a blast for sure! Couldn’t have been more grateful for the people I met! IO love :>

Values

I learn a new way of defining success through Acumen Academy Social Entrepreneurship class as below. This is how I define leadership and how I strive to live everyday.

What if, instead, more people measured success by the amount of human energy they helped unlocked in other people? If, instead of asking whether we are more beautiful or rich or famous or powerful, we asked what we do to enable others, to improve the wellbeing of others, or to make possible access to essential goods and services, then, we’d be more likely to find purpose.

Therefore, aside from my work, I actively volunteer for different causes that I believe in:

  • Bellevue Public Library to support public library through sales at the Corner bookshop

  • Dev Div Early in Career to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees

  • CodePath to provide underrepresented students with resources to enter the tech industry

  • My alma mater, Bucknell University through mentoring activities, one of them is the Microsoft Tour during spring break

Connect with me if you want to collaborate on any ideas!

On My Agenda

  • Train for the Run & Walk with Pride race. Thinking of signing up for 8K!

  • Study Chinese, hopefully reaching HSK 5 or 6.

  • Cross-train with pole dancing and aerial hammock. Excited to practice for my first inversion this year!
